The turbines have been linked to a massive 1,600 miscarriages on the farm, with many mink born with serious deformities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">The farmer has also lost millions of Danish kroner due to damaged pelts after the animals became aggressive and started attacking one another.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">This latest incident adds to the mounting evidence that the noise and vibrations from wind turbines can adversely affect humans and wildlife.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">Kay Armstrong, who lives near a wind farm in Ontario, Canada, has\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0088bb;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wind-watch.org\/documents\/wind-turbine-placement-must-consider-vibration-effect-on-animals\/\" target=\"_blank\">reported<\/a>\u00a0that her home is now \u201cvirtually uninhabitable\u201d due to the infrasound from the turbines disturbing her sleep and making her feel dizzy. She also says that local deer are agitated and awake all night, that birds are flying around all day rather than going to roost, and that seals in the area are suffering miscarriages.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">In another instance in Canada, an emu farm\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0088bb;\" href=\"http:\/\/thechronicleherald.ca\/novascotia\/1168233-turbines-blamed-for-killing-emu-business\" target=\"_blank\">had to close<\/a>\u00a0after its animals started becoming aggressive and losing weight when wind turbines were installed nearby. Something similar happened in Taiwan in 2009, when about 400 goats\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0088bb;\" href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/8060969.stm\" target=\"_blank\">died from exhaustion<\/a>\u00a0due to being unable to sleep thanks to noise from a nearby wind farm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">An academic study from Portugal also\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0088bb;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.windturbinesyndrome.com\/static\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2010-Denmark-Wind-turbines-Lyon-follow-up.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">blamed<\/a>\u00a0wind turbines for deformities in foals born nearby, while an Australian vet\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0088bb;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wind-watch.org\/news\/2012\/06\/24\/working-dogs-may-be-affected-by-wind-farms\/\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a>\u00a0working dogs living near a wind farm were exhibiting unusual behaviour, often refusing to work or even get out of their kennels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">Despite the numerous incidents, no authority has yet taken the issue of \u201cwind turbine syndrome\u201d seriously.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00bb\u00bb\u00bb\u00bb\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Editor\u2019s note<\/em>: we got the following email from a lady in Denmark, elaborating on this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.windturbinesyndrome.com\/static\/2014\/we-are-all-as-vulnerable-as-these-mink-denmark\/?var=cna\" target=\"_blank\">horror<\/a>. I am so sad, in spite of the fact that he has these animals to turn them to mink coats.
