\nThe good old Aussie Farmer is without peer and that\u2019s the truth
\nSome might choose to argue but the pudding holds the proof
\nGovernments give them nothing except a bit post-flood or drought
\nSqueaky wheels get the attention while the farmer toughs it out<\/p>\n

More dangerous than the weather, they battle government decisions
\nThat truly challenge logic, well, except to politicians
\nThe live cattle export ban, what were they thinking there?
\nAllowing imports willy-nilly, it\u2019s like they just don\u2019t care
\nDesalination plants, billions down the drain
\nJust because some boffin said it wouldn\u2019t rain again<\/p>\n

They could\u2019ve spent that cash on dams or to farm wet-season water
\nGive a little hope to the farmers\u2019 sons and daughters
\nBut they don\u2019t know how to budget and they don\u2019t know how to plan
\nThere\u2019s no vision for the future, politics is just a scam
\nWhere you lie to get in power then keep on lying when you do
\nHang in for a decade and get a lifelong pension too
\nLook they aint all rotten apples but jeez the stench is hard to cop
\nAnd you don\u2019t need a crystal ball to know it starts right at the top
\nSo when they start preaching \u201cgreen\u201d you know they\u2019re really talking cash<\/p>\n

Forget the carbon footprint, what they\u2019re leaving is a rash
\nThat will mutate to a cancer if they keep bowing down to greed
\nWhen it\u2019s plain to everyone that common sense is what we need
\nIf Coal Seam Gas is safe let\u2019s see some guarantees
\nOtherwise get your poison spikes out of our water table please
\nThink Exxon Valdez or the Gulf of Mexico
\nIt\u2019s just too big a risk so the poison spikes must go
\nBass Strait has still got plenty, there\u2019s lots of gas to go around
\nWe can\u2019t risk the CSG if the process isn\u2019t sound<\/p>\n

Which brings us to the wind farms, Green Power so they say
\nBut it\u2019s just another con job at the back end of the day
\nA ruse to recoup millions corporations have outlaid
\nFor a dodgy power source that just doesn\u2019t make the grade<\/p>\n

You still need a back-up system when the wind gets sick of blowing
\nThen it\u2019s either gas or coal to keep the system going
\nSo the so-called carbon credits don\u2019t add up to much
\nBut they sell them for a fortune so someone\u2019s getting touched
\nAnd sure as hell it\u2019s you and me, our wallets fund the scheme
\nWhile the wind turbine brigade they sit back and live the dream<\/p>\n

Well, there was no blind eye being turned by Alby Schultz, now here\u2019s a bloke
\nWho wasn\u2019t being fooled by the mirrors and the smoke
\nHe\u2019s stood with them toe to toe, called them at their game
\nAnd when they finally tell the truth they will hang their heads in shame<\/p>\n

Government-funded fraud while they masquerade as Green
\nThey can\u2019t survive without the subsidies, this goes way beyond obscene
\nTen billion dollars plus is what they\u2019ve promised these pretenders
\nThat\u2019s just in the next five years, you know there\u2019s more on the agenda
\nAll for a thing that doesn\u2019t work, one of the dumbest plans on earth
\nThe power that it generates costs way more than it\u2019s worth<\/p>\n

But they\u2019re not just burning dollars, the environment suffers too
\nThere are a heap of bloody things that they\u2019re just not telling you
\nThose 60m blades, they can\u2019t be broken down
\nSo they\u2019re encased in concrete coffins and buried underground
\nAnd you can\u2019t ignore the fact they\u2019re ugly, a blight on every farm
\nAnd they lie right to our face and say they don\u2019t do any harm
\nWell tell that to the birds who get slaughtered every day
\nOr the bats whose lungs explode from the sound and pressure waves<\/p>\n

With the birds all dead or gone, the insects have a ball
\nWhere are the impact studies, were there any done at all?
\nOr were they done by those whose funding comes from government allocations
\nSo they bodgy the results and join in the celebrations
\nThe scientists keep their funding, the pollies get their dirty bucks
\nAnd we\u2019re left to hold the baby, well I\u2019m sorry but that sucks<\/p>\n

And you can\u2019t ignore Wind Turbine Syndrome, it\u2019s making people sick
\nHeadaches, nausea, tinnitus, these folk aren\u2019t playing tricks
\nThey don\u2019t like seeing doctors, it\u2019s hard to get them in the car
\nSo if farmers say they\u2019re crook well you know they bloody are
\nAnd it\u2019s causing splits in families and neighbours having blues
\nYou\u2019ve got the ones who take the cash and you can\u2019t blame them if they do.<\/p>\n

A huge boost to pay the mortgage but it\u2019s a decision based on fraud
\nAnd sadly they\u2019ll find out the risk far outweighs the reward
\nSee they\u2019re swapping health for wealth and it\u2019s a dangerous game to play
\nCan\u2019t afford to leave but then they can\u2019t afford to stay
\nIf they do get crook and then get stuffed by farm devaluation
\nWill the Wind Turbine Brigade offer any compensation
\nWell we know the answer\u2019s \u201cno\u201d, there\u2019s no way that they care
\nSo we need the people we elected to stand up and do what\u2019s fair<\/p>\n

Enough of all the bullshit, stop treating us like fools
\nWe watch you prostitute yourselves to let people break the rules
\nWell the line has now been drawn, this is it, no ifs or buts
\nPut all the spin away, it\u2019s time to show some guts
\nThrow your hands up in the air and admit that you\u2019ve been wrong
\nAll the crap we\u2019ve had to wear has gone on way too long
\nSo lets stop all the subterfuge, wind turbines are a farce
\nGiant bloody fire-traps, huge pains in the ass
\nKilling birds and killing bats, making people ill,
\nHumungous ugly money pits and we\u2019re left to pay the bill<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve laid the facts out on the table, if we\u2019re wrong then show us how
\nAnd when you own up to the truth, then the time to act is now
\nReclaim your integrity, stand up and join the fight
\nLook into your hearts and just do what\u2019s bloody right
