Kelley from the Solar Energy Research Institute in Golden, Colorado. \u00a0A research project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, Contract No. DE-AC02-83CH10093.<\/p>\n

Dr. Kelley titled his paper \u201cA Proposed Metric for Assessing the Potential of Community Annoyance from Wind Turbine Low-Frequency Noise Emissions.” \u00a0\u201cEmissions” means “noise & vibration.” \u00a0And the “low frequency” includes infrasound. \u00a0And the sterile phrase, “community annoyance,” is code for Wind Turbine Syndrome–except, Dr. Pierpont had not coined the name in 1987.<\/p>\n

Here’s<\/a> Kelley’s paper. \u00a0Rob Rand sent the paper to Rick James (Rand and James are America’s premier experts in measuring and assessing wind turbine noise\/vibration), and James then sent it to Dr. Sarah Laurie in Australia. \u00a0Dr. Laurie forwarded the paper to us.<\/p>\n
