John Wilkinson emphasized repeatedly the Ministry of the Environment\u2019s<\/a> mandate is \u201cto protect human health and the natural environment\u201d and pointed out the ministry has the power to ensure compliance with regulations and shut down renewable energy operators that don\u2019t comply.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are responding to complaints and enforcing regulations,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
